We periodically send out promotional mailings and member newsletter to our web hosting members via email. The purpose of these emails is to inform our members of the latest promotions and sales, as well as service offer updates – it is our communication channel with our users.

Many of our members have multiple web hosting accounts and receiving multiple copies of the same newsletter (one for each account) could fill up an inbox quickly. That is why we’ve provided an opt-out link at the bottom of all our promotional mailings and newsletters. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the received newsletter, you’ll see the following:

What happens when you click on the link?

You’ll be redirected to the Member Zone sign-in page. After the sign-in greeting page, you’ll see the “Opt-out Doteasy Member Newsletter” confirmation page.


All you have to do is click on the “Confirm Opt Out” button” and you will not be sent further promotional mailings or newsletters.

I confirmed opt-out, but I am still receiving promotional emails from Doteasy

Do you have more than one account with Doteasy? If yes, you will have to sign into each of your accounts to confirm opt-out.

However, we do not recommend members opting out of all promotional newsletters. If you opted out of all newsletters on all your Doteasy accounts, you will not be notified of any new offers or sales. If you have multiple accounts with us, you may wish to opt out of all but one. That way, you’ll still receive one copy of the newsletters to take advantage of any sale offers you might be interested in.

Will I still be sent service maintenance notices and/or renewal notices?

Definitely! Because the service maintenance notices and service renewal reminders are not promotional newsletters, you will continue to receive them. Service maintenance notices include server migration and server upgrade notifications. Renewal reminders include hosting service and domain registration renewals.
