In this age of technology and interactive media, a website is the quickest way for people to learn about your organization,” said Lin Hightower, the Professor of Art from Kennesaw State University (KSU) in US. What Professor Hightower said has explained why many businesses want to protect their online identities by publishing their websites. It is now a common practice even for non-profit organizations to create a website and launch their fundraising campaign online. For major charitable organizations such as Red Cross and UNICEF, it is relatively easy for them to receive the media exposure and obtain both technical and financial support from publics sectors. However, for small non-profit organizations, maybe in India or Uganda, it is definitely a challenging task for them to startup their websites and get publicized. Fortunately, Professor Hightower initiated a project which is specifically targeting to help out those in special needs for web designs. The project is called KSU International Student Website Design for non-profit organizations based around the globe. Under Professor Hightower’s supervision, her students have created professional websites for non-profit organizations based in India, Uganda, and South Africa. During the website design stage, the students had to overcome the technical difficulties as well as communication problems. Even though the whole process was challenging, many of these non-profit organizations’ websites were successfully created within one semester. Please read this article from KSU Flourish Online Magazine for more info about the KSU International Student Website Design for nonprofit organizations based around the globe. The article listed out some of the completed websites (more to come).

Limited budget is always a concern to the non-profit organizations. Therefore, KSU students suggested to Professor Hightower to contact us for hosting support to these organizations. We feel privileged to participate in this project by providing web hosting and domain name registration services to the non-profits organizations.
