You’ve created your first website using the free Doteasy Website Creator, you’ve used the convenient one-click publisher and your website is finally online! Going over your website, you see the default “Modify Website” link on the bottom of the page, like this:
The “Modify Website” link is another convenient feature of the Doteasy Website Creator. Basically, if you ever need to make changes to your website, all you need to do is click on the link and you’ll be redirected to the Website Creator admin login page.
However, if you do not want to display this link on your website, you can actually have it removed!
- In your Website Creator admin area, click on the Options link.
- On the “Options” page, click on the Hyperlink tab.
- Then, select No.
This will hide the “Modify Website” link on your website, and to access the Website Creator admin login page, you will need to use the following URL:
http://www.yourdomain.com/pbadmin
(replace yourdomain.com with your own domain name).
